I Spy with my little eye …
… something beginning with R.
So it’s Raptureponies‘ turn to spin the decks in Spy this Thursday and I must say I am really looking forward to her choice of music. The last night at Spy with the Irish Blog and Tweet scene was loads of fun and according to Rick we’ll have an even bigger turn out this time around so put on your dancing shoes (preferably sparkly) and iron your knickers!
But this is kinda like high tech society season at the moment becasue Barcamp Cork is kicking off on Nov 1st with a nice Noodle Nerds dinner organised by the lovely Alexia and the super-duper Pat Phelan.
I would like to go but it’s a toss-up between that and being there for my sister’s birthday which I hope to meld into a fancy dress occasion also. Speaking of which: any Twitterers around Dublin city centre on October 31st I am calling for a Halloween Tweetup complete with fancy dress if possible. I am taking the easy route and going as a wicked witch possibly, or Morticia.
I realise I am rambling and going back full circle to tech talks but I would love to hear Michael Walsh’s talk at Barcamp Cork on digital rights in a digital world. Also ‘Hacked na Gaeilge’ sounds deadly. Now why has nobody invented biloactional technologies yet?
Pictures please
Pixie as Morticia, now there’s a thought
Heh, I was a blonde goth for a while you know! A kinda pixie of doom!
A blonde goth?
How does *that* work?
